Weekly Rehearsal Schedule:
- Adult Music
- AdultChoir- Chancel (Adult) Choir is open to anyone 6th grade and up. September 14th- December, and February 1st to May Wednesday Nights 8:00- 9:00.
- Praise Teams- GUMC has a few different praise teams, and we are always looking for more faces! Email Josh to schedule an audition.
- Special Music - Let Josh (josh@grimesumc.com) know if you have a song to share. He will work with the performer on arrangement, etc. (No backing tracks, please!)
- Instrumentalist - We occasionally have ensembles help lead our Sunday services. Let me know if you know someone who plays an instrument!
- Kid's Music
- Praise 'n Play - Infant thru PK meet Thursday mornings at 9:30 with thier caregivers. See additional information below.
- Lil' Praisers- PK-1st. practice September through May, Wednesday nights at 6:15.
Youth Music
- Youth Band - Jr and Sr high students lead worship on Sunday mornings for "Temple" youth services. Audition with me and Nicole Keuper (our Youth Pastor).
- The Youth are encouraged to join the "Adult Choir" and participate in the praise teams and special music as well!
Praise 'N Play- Thursday Mornings @ 9:30
Bring your infant through preschool age child on Thursday mornings for a time of praising Jesus and playing together. Our mission is to provide opportunities for children and caregivers to grow in Christ through music, creative movement and fellowship. Praise 'n Play starts at 9:30 with music, then on to snack and story at 10:00. There is no fee involved, however, we do ask that you notify the church office through phone (515-986-4036) or email before you come.
During inclement weather, Praise 'n Play will not be held if DC-G schools are delayed or cancelled.
