We call the entire ministry AXIS and use Colossians 1:17 as our theme verse, which reads, "and he is before all things, and in him all things hold together." We want everything we do to be centered on Jesus and anything that does not revolve around Him is discarded and ignored.
A corporate worship gathering for students in grades 6-12 at 9:00 am on Sunday mornings in room 500.
For students in grades 6-8:
We meet on Wednesday evenings from 6:15-7:45 pm in room 605. It's a time for teaching, activities, small groups, Jesus, and lots of laughter. We start out with a time for large group activities, lesson and discussion. Students and adult leaders sit together in table groups and meet later in the hour as a small group to talk through the lesson, ask questions, and pray with and for each other.
Students in grades 9-12:
We meet on Sunday nights throughout the school year for activities, fellowship, teaching and discipleship opportunities. High school students also help out with small groups of junior high students on Wednesday evenings if they so desire.
In addition, high school students have the option of going through a mentoring program with an adult from our church and get the chance to ask questions, study the Bible and explore what life as a follower of Jesus truly looks like.
